Each May, Swain friends and family convene for two elegant events in support of the school: The Dinner and Auction, and the Annual Swain Golf Tournament.

The 16th Annual Swain Dinner and Auction Gala will be held May 17, 2008, at the Lehigh Country Club. Adults dine on fine food, visit with friends, and vie for hundreds of different items at the auction. It is a great evening with an even greater purpose - raising money for the advancement of The Swain School and its students!

Work Hard, Play Hard
Each year a band of dedicated volunteers target an ambitious goal like new playing fields for sports, networked media centers with Internet access in every classroom, a new library center - something that will directly enhance the experiences of Swain students. This year's goal is to support Swain's students and teachers.

Months of teamwork and organization create a sense of mounting excitement throughout the Swain community. Auction donations include valuable items such as vacations, jewelry, fine wines, luxury merchandise and priceless classroom projects made by the students themselves. Teachers contribute "Teachers' Treasures" - outings or one-on-one sessions with students, or an opportunity to work with that teacher for
a day.

"It's a huge job, but an immensely satisfying one. We all had fun and felt tremendously proud of ourselves when we realized what we'd achieved."
